Study in Canada

Each year, around 15,000 U.S. citizens choose to study in Canada. Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) authorizes over 1,500 universities, colleges, and other educational institutions to admit international students. One of the benefits of studying in Canada as an international student is the opportunity to work while studying, which can provide extra income and work experience. Graduates of eligible Canadian institutions can also apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), which is an open work permit that allows them to gain valuable Canadian work experience. This experience can increase their chances of being eligible for permanent residency and improve their chances of successfully obtaining immigration status.
